Cormac Duffy

Cormac is a Fellow member of the Institute of Incorporated Public Accountants in Ireland. He started his career in accountancy in 1965 with the firm Duffy, Tierney and Company. Cormac was also involved in the Credit Union movement in Galway serving two terms as President of St. Anthony’s and Claddagh Credit Union, Galway and also as a Director on the Board of the Irish League of Credit Unions between 1974 and 1977. This experience joined together with the fact that Cormac has acted as Auditor for numerous Credit Unions means he has an in-depth knowledge of the sector.  He currently serves on the governing council of the Institute of Incorporated Public Accountants in Ireland. In his spare time he coaches under-age football teams with Shrule-Glencorrib GAA club.
